Welcome to Carlsbad Municipal School District! Whether you're new to the area or already part of our community, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and academically enriching environment where every student can succeed. From PreK through high school, CMSD offers a wide range of programs designed to prepare students for college, careers, and lifelong learning. We’re here to make the enrollment process as smooth as possible and look forward to working with your family.

Notes:
- In New Mexico, a child must be 5 years old before September 1st to enroll in kindergarten.
- For Carlsbad Early College High School (CECHS) enrollment, please contact the school directly.

New Students
If you have never been a parent or legal guardian of a Carlsbad Municipal Schools student and are enrolling a student for the first time, click here to create a new account. -
Returning Students
If you are or have ever been a parent or guardian of a student previously enrolled in Carlsbad Municipal Schools, click here to log in to your existing account. -
Transfer Request
If you would like your student to attend a school outside of their assigned district zone, click here to complete a transfer request form. One form is required for each student. Students will remain at their zoned school until the transfer is approved.
